Heartbreak at Bon Bon Pond

illiam and Leona plus their brood of six have flown off to visit family leaving behind a lone goose.  Her mate died tragically a few weeks past from internal injuries sustained after being struck by a car on the filthy old cowpath—now named the filthy old deathtrap.  She spends long periods of time perched on the log gazing out to “sea”—no doubt mourning for her fallen companion.
