Apologies to any reader who
might have seen the anonymous obscene political rant (on a nature and wildlife
website ???) posted on this site on
Sunday. It was four hours before I saw
and removed it. Ironically, it appeared on one of my “daily
blessings.” Nice.
Most blogs require captchas,
a poster ID, plus moderation before a comment appears. I suppose I should change my settings . . .
but I won’t. It was always my intention to make things as easy as possible for readers
to leave comments. Since life today is
so complicated, I wanted Reflections
to be a stress free zone—and so it shall remain. Besides, bullies, cowards and haters do NOT deserve
to win.
And
finally, a comment to my anonymous commenter:
you might want to check out this great article entitled 30 truths to
tame your tongue, temper & intolerance. Here’s a taste:

faithfulness, and self-control.
~ Galatians 5:22
“The three things that
will likely trip you up more than anything online will likely be your tongue,
your temper, and intolerance for other people’s views, tastes, principles,
beliefs, and behaviors.
Here are 30 biblical truths to help you
stay focused and call on heaven in a minute. Keep them handy. Don’t just read
them, mediate on them, pray about them and
ask God to make them personal and real to your specific situation
. . .”
