At 5:45 p.m. yesterday four glorious Trumpeter Swans flew at a diagonal
over the Pine Point Park section of the Pond.
Four minutes later, three more winged past, also moving in a
southeasterly direction. If I had to
guess, I’d wager they were heading for the St. Croix River. Is winter over? Is bad weather brewing? At this point, only the animals know for
sure.
