Fall Migration Report: Return of the Juncos!

Bon Bon Pond is pleased to report our special winter friends, the  Dark-eyed Juncos, have returned.  When I opened the front door this morning, there they were, dancing on the ground and darting around the bushes, so excited to be back home.  The feeling is mutual toward these warm and friendly little cold weather residents. 

As I’ve said before, summer birds thrill us with their colorful beauty but winter birds melt our hearts with their sunny personalities.
