Minnesota Misery Index

Technically, the Misery Index was coined as an economic indicator but around Minnesota it’s taken on an entirely new meaning.  In the Land of 10,000 Lakes, the Misery Index is when hot weather meets humidity.  The result is a marriage made in Hell and it always means trouble, i.e. storms.  For the past week, the Minnesota Misery Index has been off the charts.  Take a gander below at the readings for today:  94% relative humidity!  Yikes!  For those of you in saner climates, the photo that follows might put it in better perspective.  It was NOT raining when the picture was taken.  THAT is humidity trying to claw its way into the house.  Thank God for blessed air conditioning.
